The Karoo desert, a vast and arid region in South Africa, is so breathtaking, that one would not be blamed for gawping awestruck at the splendour of its expansive scenery. This desert is home to a myriad of small and tiny life forms that have adapted to its extreme conditions.
When going hiking spotting a snake might possibly not be our favourite – and being shy creatures, sightings may be rare as they slither away at your approach. But nevertheless, the most exciting Karoo dweller we may be lucky enough to spot must be the handsome Cape Cobra.
